Ingredients Crunchi Excludes by Design
In the United States, thousands of toxic chemicals linked to breast cancer, birth defects, hormone disruption, and reproductive harm are still legally permitted in cosmetics and skincare. Many brands use greenwashing to appear clean while continuing to use harmful ingredients.
Crunchi was created as a direct response to that problem. Every product is formulated without:
- Parabens (methyl-, isobutyl-, propyl- and others)
- Synthetic fragrances and synthetic flavors
- Phthalates
- Formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives (Bronopol, DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea, Quaternium-15)
- Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)
- Oxybenzone
- Hydroquinone
- Coal tar and coal tar dyes
- Polyethylene glycol (PEG compounds)
- Triclosan and Triclocarban
- Toluene
- Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
- Ethanolamines (MEA/DEA/TEA)
- Retinyl palmitate and Retinol (Vitamin A) in leave-on products

"Crunchy" refers to folks who have a lifestyle out of concern for the environment and reducing personal exposure to toxic chemicals. "Crunchy" describes people who eat organic foods, read labels, care about animals & animal cruelty-basically a conscientious consumer.
"Crunchi" with the "i" is the new sophisticated version of "crunchy" with the "y". Someone who does not want to compromise their health for product performance or compromise product performance for their health. Consumers deserve both: Safety and Performance.
